I'm Jerry Kindall, formerly of Kitchen Sink Software, Quality Computers, and "II Alive" magazine. My first Apple II was a IIc, which I souped up with a RocketChip, a UniDisk 3.5, and a 1 MB AE Ramworks card. I'm the author of the Microdot utility software and various freeware and shareware. I was a sysop in GEnie's Apple II forum. These days I use Windows machines for work, Macs for pleasure, and live in Seattle. You can find one of my editorials from "II Alive" on my Web site (www.jerrykindall.com) about my early days with the Apple II.

Back "in the day" I was part of Jupiter Systems, which released, among other fun things, FinderView (which was mostly Brian Clark's invention, but we had fun watching...) My first Apple was and Apple ][+. I've done a fair amount of modifying and tweaking to KEGS, Kent's Emulated GS, which I highly recommend as an Apple //GS emulator. I used the Apple ][+, //e, and GS in their primes, and have a //c in my 'museum'. I run linux these days, with an elderly iMac at it's side, and still swear off the evil empire.

Had an Apple ][ e back in teh day. My second computer following on the heels of the Alto.
Nowadays, I work at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View and we're getting old Apples up and running. Still trying to find Seven Cities of Gold.

I was an annoying little Apple II kiddie. Apple II+, then Apple IIgs. I eventually became less annoying, as some members and ex-members of the AppleSiders in Cincinnati will attest to. I have an Apple II+ motherboard that I'm slowly working on building an appropriate frame for. It is my goal, since Woz is in the bay area and I am in the bay area, to have a Woz autograph, too. ;)

I remember you, Jerry Kindall. ;)

Being a little Apple II nerd paid off.... I'm now a programmer. I don't have any Apple computers in my appartment, but at least all of the PCs aren't all running windows.
